No. Pre-qualification at Jhenesis Mortgage does not require a hard credit inquiry and will not affect your credit score. We use a soft pull or no credit check at all depending on the loan program. A hard inquiry only occurs when you authorize a full loan application and submit to a lender for underwriting.
Most pre-qualifications are completed within 24–48 hours of submitting your form. Conventional, FHA, and VA pre-qualifications are often determined on the same day or call. DSCR, ITIN, non-QM, and foreign national pre-qualifications may take 2–3 business days due to program-specific guidelines.
